Luis García de Noriega married Josefa Xavier y Baca, reared inthe Valverde family, on August 27, 1703. With his brothers Alonso and Vicente he was a grantee of San Antonio in the Rio Abajo. His wife died on 20 Jan 1735. His will in 1747 gave Josefa "Valverde" as his first wife, whose only child, Rosalía, was married to a Salvador Martínez. His second wife was Barbara García Jurado, by whom he had four children: Luis, Ana María, María Rosa, and Lazaro Antonio. The last child was baptized on 21 Feb 1745, with Tomás de Sena and Luisa García as sponsors. One girl, María Rosa, became the wife of Ventura Romero.
