Luis García de Noriega married Josefa Xavier y Baca, reared inthe Valverde family, on August 27, 1703. With his brothers Alonso and Vicente he was a grantee of San Antonio in the Rio Abajo. His wife died on January 20, 1735. His will in 1747 gave Josefa "Valverde" as his first wife, whose only child, Rosalía, was married to a Salvador Martínez. His second wife was Barbara García Jurado, by whom he had four children: Luis, Ana María, María Rosa, and Lazaro Antonio. The last child was baptized on February 21, 1745, with Tomás de Sena and Luisa Garcia as sponsors. One girl, María Rosa, became the wife of Ventura Romero.

Luís García (20), soldier of the Santa Fe Presidio, son of Sargento Mayor Alonso García and Doña Ana de Vera Jorge, both deceased, and Josefa Xavier living in Bernalillo, daughter of Captain Francisco Xavier and Doña Francisca Baca, of New Mexico origin now living in El Presidio de Gallo in Nueva Vizcaya. Groom requests some sort of dispensation for being related to bride, in view of services rendered by his father, who died in action and by his grandfather, Maes de Campo Alonso García deceased. - Witnesses: Jose de Quinatana, Notary; Jose López (51), Joaquin Sedillo (29), Pedro López (50).
