Antonio Baca married María de Aragón at Bernalillo on June 12, 1706, but later moved up to Santa Fe. Not only was Antonio accused of mistreating the Indians with his father, but his wife also. She died on September 1, 1751, and he followed ten years later, on December 4, 1761, being then "more than eighty years old." Antonio had made his will in 1755, in which he gave the names of his parents and his wife, and those of his son and seven daughters with their respective husbands:

  • María Francisca, wife of Manuel de Armijo

  • Juana, married to Francisco Montoya

  • Gregoria, wife of Mateo Roybal

  • Ynez, wife of another Antonio Montoya

Three of the girls had been born in Bernalillo before the parents moved to Santa Fe: María, July 19, 1707, María Antonia, December 2, 1710; and María Francisca, August 17, 1712. Their brother, Pablo (Antonio), married Lorenza, daughter of Felipe de Ribera and María Estela Palomino, on May 27, 1743.
