Hugh Bruyn of Stapleford married Margaret, one of the daughters and co-heirs of Hugh Picmere. Their daughter and heir, Ellen, was underage at the time of her father's death. Her marriage and wardship was granted by Margaret, her mother, to David Hulse, vicar of Great Budworth, to marry Hugh, son of Sybill, daughter of William, son of Hugh de Norberry, 26 Edw. III.
