Sir William de Staunton, knight, granted freedom to Hugh Travers, and all his progeny, for the reason that the said Hugh assumed the cross for him, and proceeded to Jerusalem. Sir William married Athelina, daughter and coheir of John de Musters, lord of Bosingham, in Lincolnshire, and thereby aquired part of that estate. Sir William was succeeded by his son, Sir Geoffrey de Staunton, Knight.

Athelina married Sir William de Staunton Knight, son of Mauger de Staunton and Unknown 997,1006.,1112 (Sir William de Staunton Knight died 31 May circ 1250 in Staunton, Nottinghamshire, England and was buried in St. Mary's Church, Staunton, Nottinghamshire, England 1006.)
