Richard was married a second time to Sybil, the daughter and heiress of Sir Robert de Clithoroe of Salesbury, and they had a daughter, also named Joan, who married Sir Henry de Hoghton in 1401.

Sybil married Sir Richard de Radcliffe, son of Sir John Radcliffe Kinght of Ordsall and Joanna de Holand. (Sir Richard de Radcliffe was born in 1301-1325 in Lancashire, England and died in 1380 in Lancashire, England 360.)
