Roger de Mohaut attested a charter granted not later than 1211 as "Roger dapifer de Montalt." In 1212, he was in possession of his lands in Lincolnshire, and in 1219, he was a commissioner in Staffordshire. In 1222, 1227 and 1231, he made various claims in Cretingham and Elford, Suffolk. He made a grant of pasture in Saltney to the monks of Dieulacres. He married Nichole, who survived him.
