Baudouin V comté de Flandres
• Web Refference: Kelley L. Ross, SUCCESSORS OF ROME: FRANCIA, 447-Present . The line of sucession for the rulers of Flanders becomes confusing with the children of Baldwin V. Baldwin's grandson, Arnulf III, may have been murdereed by his uncle Robert I. From there the line dies out and the country is ruled by Charles the Good the grandson of Robert through his dauther Adéla. Charles the Good is killed, so the county passes to a second cousin, William Clito of Normandy, the great grandson of Baldwin V through his daughter Maltilda who married William the Conqueror of Normany. Baudouin married Adèle Capet Princess des Francs, daughter of Robert "le Pieux" Capet Roi des Francs and Constance de Toulouse, in 1028 160.,529 (Adèle Capet Princess des Francs was born in 1009 in France 157 and died on 8 Jan 1079 in Flanders 529.) |
