Robert de Tatesahll married, as his first wife, some date before 1222, Maud, sister and in her issue coheir of Hugh, Fifth Earl of Arundel, and eldest daughter of William d'Aubigny, the Earl of Arundel, by Mabel, 2nd daughter of Hugh le Meschin, also styled de Kevelic, Earl of Chester. Maud died between 1238 and 1242.
