bullet  Information about this person:

• Background Information. 141
Iseult Pantulf, is sometimes mistakenly given as the wife of her brother-in-law, Robert de Tateshal, but she was married to Walter, who was the second of her five husbands. Before she married Walter, she was married to Hugh de Munpincun, who may have been dead in 1186. Her third husband was Walter Baskerville and the fourth was Henry Biset. He last husband was Amauri de St. Amand.

She brought the lands of Breedon and the patronage of Langley Priory to the Tateshal family. Her grandfather was William Pantulf and her grandmother was Burga, and they had three sons, William, her father, and her unclies Roger and Philip.

~Cokayne's Complete Peerage, 2nd Edition, (Tateshal), Vol. XIIA , p.647-648

Amauri de St. Amand married, 1st,_______, and, 2nd, between July 1214 and Dec. 1222, as her 5th husband, Iseult, daughter of William Pantulf of Breedon, Leics (who died 1194), by Joan, daughter of Piers de Goldington and Eve his wife, and (perhaps after the death s.p. of a brother) her father's coheir and ultimately heir.

This lady had married, presumably in the order following,
(1) Hugh de Munpincun, who may have been dead in 1186, when Clemence, daughter of William de Munpincun appears to have been a ward of the King.
(2) Walter, son of Robert de Tateshale, in her right lord of Breedon, Leics, by whom she was ancestress of the Lords Tateshale. Walter d. 1199 or 1200.
(3) by May 1200, as a later wife, Henry, son and heir of Manasser Biset. Henry d. before 4 Apr 1211;
(4) by 4 Apr 1211, as a later wife, Walter de Baskerville, who was dead in Oct 1213;
(5) Amauri de St. Amand

Her son and heir Robert de Tateshale undertook payment of her debts, and orders were consequently made in 1223 and 1228, which would normally connote her death, but as late as 1267 she was still prosecuting her rights of dower, &c. against her grandson Robert de Tateshale.

~Cockayne's Complete Peerage, (St. Amand), Vol. IX, p. 296
