• Web Reference: Robert de Torigny and the family of Gunnor, Duchess of Normandy. Senfira, of Seinfreda, was the sister of Gunnor, the mistress of Richard I, Duke of Normandy. She was the wife of the forester from the area of St. Vaast d'Equiqueville. According the Robert de Torigny (who wrote about the fenealogical traditions tied to the Norman Nobilty after the Norman Conquest of England), it was her charms that first drew the attention of Richard I. Senfria offered her sister, Gunnor, since she was a pious wife.

Senfrida had one known daughter, Joscelina who became the wife of Hugh de Montgomery.
