Sir Thomas l'Arcedeken of Ruan Lanihorne, Corwall, son and heir of Otes l'Arcedekne ( d. 1289/90), by Amice, his wife, was Governor of Tintagel Castle 1312, and Sheriff and Sheriff of Cornwall, Michmas 1313/4. He was summoned to Parliment 15 May (1321) 14 Edward II to 13 Sep (1324) 18 Edward II, by writs directed to Thome Lercedekne, whereby he may be held to have become Lord Arcedeken.
Sir Thomas l'Arcedekne married 1stly, Alice, 3rd daughter of Thomas de la Roche, of Roch Castle, co. Pembroke. He married 2ndly, Maud. Sir Thomas died shortly before 21 Aug 1331. His widow was living 11 Jun 1362.
