Sir William de Fiennes, Knight, heir to his brother Joahn and son of Sir William and his wife Joan de Say, died 3 Heny IV, and lies buried in Hurst-Monceaux church, under a flat stone ornamented with brass ; leaving issue, by Elizabeth, daughter and heir of William Batisford (who brought him a good estate in Sussex), twos sons, first Sir Roger Fiennes, Knight and second Sir James Fiennes, Knight.
