William Fitz William, son of William Fitz Godric and Aubrey de Lisours, was probably just of age in 1194, when, by a fine dated 21 Apr, Roger the Constable, Aubrey's grandson by her first husband, released to her and her son William Fitz William all the lands which had belonged to Robert de Lisours, her father [Duchy Lancaster, Great Coucher, ii, fo. 284 d]. Aubrey's son Willim Fitz William was living 9 Feb 1218/9 [Feet of Fines, Yorks, case 262, file 15 no. 105]. His son, Sir William Fitz Thomas, was dead in 1294.
