In 1190 Hugh de Haversham rendered account of 30 marks for an agreement concerning the wood of Haversham [Pipe R. 2 Ric. I, m. 12 d]. Hugh held Haversham as late as 1220. [Red Bk. of Exch. (Rolls Ser.), 109, 536, 585] His son Nicholas owed 100s. for relief for his father's fee here in 1221. [Pipe R. 5 Hen. III, m. 13 d]

Hugg de Haversham, the son of Benedict, had lands of his father's give in 1208 (9 John); and in 1234 (20 Hen. III) levied a fine to use of his son, Nicholas de Haversham, who, in the reign of Hen. III was termed the Lord of Haversham, of a Knight's fee here.
