• Background Information. 1246
Nicholas de Haversham, who gained a grant of the manor of Haversham manor of Claybrooke from Ernald de Bosco (brother-in-law). Nicholas Haversham had issue by his wife, Emma Bosco, of one son also named Nicholas Haversham. The second Nicholas Haversham died in 1274, leaving by his wife Joan, who survived her husband, an only daughter and heir, Matilda, an infant under 12 months old.

Joane married Nicholas de Haversham, son of Nicholas de Haversham and Emma de Bois.1269 (Nicholas de Haversham was born in Haversham, Buckinghamshire, England and died in 1274 in Haversham, Buckinghamshire, England 1203,1204.)
