John de Thorpe, who lived in the 1^st half of the 13th century, is mentioned in the Inquisition post mortem (1306) of Roger Fitz Piers Fitz Osbert. He married Margaret, sister and (in her issue) coheir of Bartholomew de Creke, of North Creake, Norfolk, and Combs, Suffolk, daughter of Robert de Creke, of the same, presumably by his 1^st wife, Agnes, daughter of William de Glanville.
