Godfrey of Namur, son of Albert, count of Namur & Ida of Saxony, was born in 1067 or 1069, and died 19 Aub 1139, as a lay broher in the abbey of Floreffe. He married, about 1087, Sibylle, daughter of Roger, Count of Chateau-Porcien, which marriaged ended in divorce or annullment because of her affair with a neighbor while Godfrey as away waging war.
