David, Henry, and Adam gave the island of Begerin, in Wexford North Bay [Ireland], with the church built on it to St. Nicholas, Exeter, for the soul of their father Robert FitzGodebert. It is possible, though proof is wanting, that this Adam is identical with the Adam de la Roche, who, with consent of his wife, Blaniane, founded the priory of Pill near Milford Haven.

• Background Information. 1325
The first of the Roch Castle family was Adam, who founded Pill Priory at the close of the 12th century. At the end of his charter he states that he gives the churches all of the land he had acquired. We learn in the charter that his wife's name was Blandina. Adam was witness to Robert Fitz Elidor's grant to St. David's.
