Asencio de Archuleta is mentioned in Hilario's will as his brother. He married Lugarda Quintana, by whom he had three children, Cristóbal, Juana Josefa, and Nicolás Marcos, according to a will she made in 1749 when Asencio was absent from New Mexico. Lugarda died on June 10, 1749, at the age of 50.
