On 23 Mar 1718, Antonio Chaves, widowed of his first wife, married Antonia Baca. Antonio died 12 May 1738 and his wife, Antonia, died may years later at the age of seventy-five, on 15 Feb 1770. Unfortunately neither left a will, and their many children must be glenned from other documents. Sons of Antonio & Antonia were: Cristóbal, Miguel, José, Juan Antonio, Tomás, Francisco & Santiago. Daughters were: Feliciana, married to Manuel Baca; Lucía Ana, married to Felipe Romero; and María, who drown in the Río del Norteast the age of eleven in 1724.
