Vicente Baca, español, 24, was the legitimate son of the late Mariano Baca and Teresa Sánchez, citizens of Alburquerque. María de la Concepción Chaves, 20, española, was the legitimate daughter of the late Ygnacio Chaves and Ursula Sanchez, citizens of Alburquerque. The couple wac; related in the third degree of consanguinity.

When questioned by Father Guerra, Vicente testified that María was very poor. María added that her father was dead, and her mother had lost her mind. Both were related to most of the - people in the area.

Witnesses:
