John de Langeton, son of Robert de Langeston, lord of West Langeton, Lanc. and brother to Bishop of Chichester, who was Chancellor during the regins of Edw. I and II; John survived his wife; living 2 Jul 1332 & d. before 1335 = Alice, only daughter of James Banastre & Ellen le Boteler, under age in 1291, and ward to Sir John le Byron, whose son he contracted her marriage for died young, and Edmund, Earl of Lancaster, gave her wardship and marriage to her future husband, John de Langeton
Robert Langton, baron of Newton; d. 26 Sep 1361; levied a fine in 1335 uner which Leicesershire property with lands in Walton-le-Dale, the manor Hyndelegh and half the manor of Goldborne, passed to his second son Robert = Margaret
