-- In his "Complete Peerage", Cokayne states that Isabel was given to her husband, RALPH, as a reward for RALPH's kidnapping of his own half-sister, AGNES, and giving her to Isabel's father, SIMON DE MONTFORT as his second wife.
--Cokayne also states of Isabel that "after a long widowhood, repenting of the fatal wontonness to which she had been too much addicted in her youth, took the veil at the priory of Haute-Bruyere and lived praiseworthily in the fear of the Lord."
Isabel married Ralph III de Toeni et Conches, son of Roger I "the Spaniard" de Toeni seigneur de Toeni et Conches and Adélaide de Barcelona. (Ralph III de Toeni et Conches was born about 1029 in Normandy, France and died on 24 Mar 1101-1102.)
