Thomas Patten, born in Cambridge, Oct 1636, married, in Dedham, 1 Apr 1662, Rebecca Paine, daughter of Thomas Paine. He married, as his second wife, in Billerica, 20 May 1686, Sarah Kendall Dunton, daughter of Thomas Kendall and Widow of Samuel Dunton.

Thomas Patten moved to Billerca in 1654, where he resided until his death. He died 16 Jan 1690. He mention his eldest son, Thomas, his son Nathaniel and his other sons William and Kindall. He also mentioned his brother Nathaniel Patten.
