Rebecca Payne married Thomas Patten of Billercia on 1 Apr 1662. Thomas Patten was born in Cambridge in Oct 1636 and died 16 Jan 1689/90. Thomas was the son of William Patten and his wife Mary.

Rebecca's father, Thomas Payne, according to his will os 26 Jul 1686, beqeathed "unto my son-in-law, Thomas Patten of Billerica, the full portion that he is to have upon the account of my daughter, Rebecka, his wife deceased." Also in his will, "I do give and bequeath to my Grandchild Rebeca Pattin five pounds."
