• Background Information: 1610 Nathaniel, son of Nathaniel who is son of Thomas. Thomas was the son of immigrant William Patten. Nathaniel was born in Billerica on 10 Sep 1707. He married Mary Kidder, who was the daughter of Enoch Kidder and Mary Haywood. On 7 Dec 1729, Nathaniel Patten, cooper, and Mary, his wife, convey land and mill in Oxford to Joseph Reed, of Leicester.
Afterward, Nathaniel and Mary moved to Windham, Connecticut. Nathaniel finally moved to Stafford, Connecticut where he resided until his death. His widow (Mary Kidder) married Nathaniel Woodward after Nathaniel's death. She died on 30 Nov 1756 at the age of 88 years.
